Work hardening and conditioning programs are structured, individualized, active treatment programs designed to assist a person recovering from a motor vehicle accident (MVA) or a work-related injury.
This program helps increase an individual’s strength and flexibility through exercises and work simulated tasks to allow for a faster and safer return to work. Education for proper body mechanics and risk factors for injury are also addressed to ensure that a worker returns to work quickly and safely while preventing reoccurrences of injury.
